Last First Day of School

Today is the first day of the second semester of fourth year. The last semester of my last year in college.

I can't believe it's finally here! It's like the end of road, looming in the distance. You could see it, but can't quite reach it yet. But you also know that the time will come when you get there, finally.

I know right?! I'm starting to tear up. I knew I was supposed to be excited for today but ... then BAM!

It pretty much felt like any other school day, which it is. But I don't know, I guess I kind of expected to feel different.

The day started out in a pretty memorable way though. I was early to school, and the classroom where our first period was supposed to be in was open (they usually lock the classrooms) which was lucky, 'cause then I'd get to sit while waiting for the others to get in. I was wearing my new blouse with these two cute giant pins on them and my new pair of jeans. So anyway, when people started to filter into the classroom, I noticed that they were wearing our uniforms, pristine white blouses with a white pencil skirt and stockings. So I kind of went out of the room to look at the bulletin board, 'cause I was pretty sure that it said that we could wear the uniforms of the second week of every semester. And there it was, in paper and ink stating that we wear our uniforms on the second week of the semester. Then I get a text from one of my best friends Jerleen asking where the hell I was. And I replied back, telling her the classroom. I was still in front of the bulletin board when I spotted my friend, and she was like, "What were you doing there? That's not our classroom." So I thought she was kidding, but when I looked at my class schedule I saw that she was right (we were supposed to be in 401 not 410). So she and I rushed to get my back and go to the right classroom.

When we get there though, another one of my best friends Rhea asking why we weren't in our uniforms. Then she tells us that there was an announcement on Facebook the night before that we were supposed to wear our uniforms.

Seriously, this day was like:

All I could think about how tomorrow would turn out is:
