Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Aaand I'm done!

It took me longer to read this book. Kind of just like the first book, I had to put it down and take a vacation (just a day, really) from it (started reading on October 31, 2013). I'm not entirely sure why. It just didn't keep me on my toes, like it didn't make me want to keep reading. Which is kind of  a rare thing for me to feel about books. Because usually, I just have to keep going because I can't make myself put the book down because I love it so much. That wasn't the case with If I Stay and Where She Went though.

I mean, the books are absolutely beautifully written, there's no denying that. But it just ... it felt like it dragged. I kept thinking, what's the whole point of this book? Adam wants to know why Mia left, I get that. And I want to know too! Why would she cut off all ties with him? Why why why?

But he's being too much of a coward to ask (and resolves to acting like a big jerk or reaching for a smoke), and she keeps distracting him with other things like sight-seeing when they're both finally together.

Meh, I don't know. Had very mixed feelings about the book, that I couldn't really figure out what I loved and hated about it. There were some things that I both loved and hated about it ...

But what I really love for sure is the book cover (: Haha!
