Just One Year by Gayle Forman

Oh my gods! It's finally here! Just One Year by Gayle Forman!

(Meh, I'm such a crappy photographer, right?)

So anyway, my mom and I were going to buy birthday gift wrappers and birthday greeting cards when I stumbled upon the only freaking copy of Just One Year in the bookstore (I know right! I hate our bookstores).

I didn't really have the money to buy it, cause it wasn't planned and I had no idea it was already freaking published, but there it was. And there I was, staring longingly at it.

I considered hiding it behind the rest of the Just One Day books (Haha, I can be pretty sinister, right? ... Um, is it weird that I don't have a copy of Just One Day and I want to have the second one? I guess it's because when a book shows up in stores in our city, you have to take advantage of the opportunity, because you never know if new stocks will come, and you let that one and ONLY copy to have made it to town to slip through your fingers ... happened to me a lot ... It's not fair, totally sucks) so I could come back to it, hopefully. But I knew my efforts were futile, because I knew that if someone came looking for it, the book would be found. And I really really wanted it!

I kept going back to the shelf, even to the point where I carried the book around, while I went through the store, just to keep it safe for the mean time.

And my mom saw.

And she asked if I wanted it.

Okay, I don't really spend a lot, especially since I just bought The House of Hades recently. I just feel guilty buying stuff with money my parents give me, unless I saved for them, you know?

Anyways ... my mom remembered that she borrowed money from me, and gave it back, which lead to me buying the freaking book!

I feel so happy.

My stomach is making happy dances right now :) Must be how 'butterflies in your stomach' feels like.

Just one more book of Gayle Forman's that is missing: Just One Day.
