Okay, so I have these goals set up for the break, and one of them is to watch five movies within the break. And I managed to complete this goal today!
These were the movies I saw for this goal:
- Geek Charming 2011
- The Host 2013
- Oblivion 2013
- The Lone Ranger 2013
- My Babysitter's A Vampire 2010
The last movie was pretty interesting. I was pretty excited to watch it, considering that it's almost halloween and there's a real (I found that this wasn't really true in the movie since the babysitter, heck she's not even a babysitter, was just a 'fledgling') vampire.
It was pretty funny how they made a parody of Twilight, though it was also kind of annoying. The movies with parodies of Twilight is kind of getting tired. But anyway, it was pretty cool how they stuck to the original idea of a vampire (sort of) like how they have no reflections, or how they have to get invited to get into a house and how they get killed by wooden stakes and holy water.

But twenty minutes into the movie, things kind of started to get reeeally weird. One of the characters named Ethan starts having visions, usually when he holds on to the vampire (well, not really cause she's a 'fledgling') girl. This got me curious but the movie did not really explain what it meant, until somewhere toward the end when Ethan's bestfriend's (Benny) grandmother tells him that he's a Seer. And apparently, Benny is some kind of spell casting guy, though he's only seen performing a spell once (not to mention that it failed). And Benny's grandmother is also some sort of earth priestess ... oookay. Totally did not see that one coming.
But if you're looking for a movie to get past the boring afternoon, just something to kill time really, I recommend this movie for you.
Aaah! This is my first movie review ever. I know, it's not good, but at least right?
